Our client is a global Financial Institution and leading innovator in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking AI Governance Director to lead their efforts in navigating the complex landscape of AI regulations and ethics.
This role is pivotal in shaping the firm's response to the rapidly evolving AI space and ensuring that their AI initiatives adhere to the highest standards of ethical and responsible use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about national and international AI regulations and standards, and develop strategies to ensure company-wide compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with AI projects, with a focus on data privacy, data sovereignty, and model risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Policy Development: Lead the development of AI governance policies, guidelines, and best practices that align with industry standards and regulations. Ensure these policies are integrated into AI development processes.
- AI Technology Expertise: Bring strong knowledge of AI technologies and demonstrated experience in implementing AI solutions, from project inception to deployment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, legal, and compliance, to embed governance and ethical considerations into AI projects from inception to deployment.
- Ethical AI: Promote ethical AI practices within the organization, championing transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI development and deployment.
