Sponsorship opportunities and relocation packages are available for overseas lawyers qualified lawyers and they are also keen to speak to Australian or New Zealand qualified lawyers, who are considering relocating back to Australia from overseas.

The Disputes & Investigations Practice

Allens' Disputes & Investigations practice is Band 1 (Chambers Asia-Pacific 2022) and Tier 1 (Legal500 Asia Pacific 2022) and act on the most complex, high-value and reputationally significant matters in the Australian market, as well as being named Law Firm of the year 2020 at the Australasian Law Awards. You'll have the opportunity to assist with the Australian component of major international disputes and the ability to conduct matters in jurisdictions throughout Australia and the Asia region.


The Disputes team are keen to consider experienced general Commercial Litigation lawyers with between three to seven years PQE, who are interested in relocating to Australia. The services provided by the Allens Disputes & Investigations Practice include: Commercial and contractual disputes, Regulatory inquiries and investigations, Corporate crime, Internal investigations, Royal Commissions / Commissions of Inquiry/coronial inquests, Class actions, Taxation disputes & Investigations, Risk and compliance advisory, Arbitration and Projects disputes.


This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most highly regarded Tier 1 Disputes teams in the Australian market. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple partners, offering exposure and development of your skills in all areas, to inform your specialisation as you progress into a more senior level.

What you'll bring:


· Experience obtained with a leading Disputes practice within an international or top-tier environment

· Between three to seven years post-qualification experience

· An excellent academic record

· A willingness to participate in business development activities, build an understanding of clients and develop effective working relationships both internally and externally.

· Ability to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences and networks.
