Assistant Procurement Manager (Nakhon Ratchasima Based)

Purchasing and managing the raw materials required for production. The role involves sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, evaluating supplier performance, and managing inventory levels. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will work closely with other departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, and R&D to ensure that the company's raw material needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source raw materials from local and international suppliers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favorable terms for the procurement of raw materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply of raw materials.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on criteria such as delivery times, quality of materials, and pricing.
- Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to identify cost savings opportunities and ensure the company is paying fair market prices.
- Manage the purchasing budget and ensure that expenses are within budgetary limits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication skills in English
- Available to travel 30% of the time
