Developer / Technical Lead (Typescript/NodeJS) - $40-90k P/M based on level - rolling contract

We are partnered with a leading insurer dedicated to innovation and excellence in delivering insurance solutions. We are seeking a skilled TypeScript/Node.js Developer and/or Technical Lead to contribute to our major system build project.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Implementation:

Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable TypeScript/Node.js applications for large system builds in the insurance domain.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of backend services and functionalities.

System Optimization:

Enhance system performance and reliability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.

Continuously improve code quality, architecture, and development processes.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with team members to ensure effective project execution and alignment with business goals.

Document code, procedures, and best practices to maintain system integrity and ease future development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a TypeScript/Node.js Developer, preferably in large system builds or complex projects.

Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js with a strong understanding of backend development.

Experience with AWS services and Docker for cloud-based solutions is highly beneficial.

Familiarity with related technologies and tools commonly used in software development.

More senior candidates can be considered for Technical Lead and will manage a development pod.
