about the role

you will lead the portfolio of projects and programs, and manage the delivery of large-scale projects across APAC with a team of Project Managers.

  • Drive engagement through a collaborative leadership style that produces aligned outcomes whilst navigating different stakeholder levels within the organisation.
  • Drive the timely initiation of projects from the allocated Business / Technology Roadmap(s), ensuring that the right resources are available at the right time to progress these through our governance processes.
  • Manage budgets, actuals, and forecasts at both an initiative and portfolio level to the annual budget defined.
  • Lead the delivery of portfolio planning/estimations during our annual budgeting cycle and ensure that projects are delivered according to a structured framework that is fit for purpose.
  • Produce comprehensive business cases for projects which accurately scope options, cost estimates and define clear, measurable & timeboxed benefits
  • knowledge and guidance to key pieces of work, leading through robust hybrid frameworks and ceremonies and whilst collaborating with highly motivated and cohesive teams,
  • Manage project scope, timelines, costs, quality, planning, reporting, and project governance
  • deliver the assigned project efficiently to the scope, timeline, and within budget
  • identify alternative courses of action within the project to achieve operational goals and objectives
  • develop and implement effective change management plans and processes
  • working collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate and positively influence strategy, business requirements, and solution development
  • supporting the business stakeholders in the identification of business benefit and value, tangible and intangible, for initiatives raised
  • participating in the development of design documents, design reviews, and analysis of functional changes to systems.
  • manage the budgets of the initiatives within the program of work. ensuring the accuracy of forecasts and chargebacks from delivery teams.
  • building strong relationships through engagement with internal customers, colleagues and other key stakeholders across all stages of the project management life cycle
  • Prioritise and collaborate with teams with a sense of purpose and build strong relationships

skill & experience require

To succeed in this role, you should possess experience in the following

  • Driving large-scale projects at IT Program and Project Management level across APAC
  • Possess experience in similar project nature "Insurance sector"
  • Strong Believer in the timeline, Strategic Delivery, Stakeholder Engagement, & Leadership acumen.
