Job Description

  • To undertake business analyst roles covering SDLC phases (requirements gathering, feasibility study, functional specifications, interface specifications, test cases) using SDLC or AGILE methodology.
  • The associate will be required to co-ordinate with business stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the life cycle of the projects ie. Support development team in design and development phases as well as responsible to provide solution to business problems / opportunities.
  • The associate should have good understanding of UI model and required to be engaged with UX stakeholders to build Digital UI changes. Associate has to ensure the UI & UX are designed as per organizational standards & guidelines and add value to product building.
  • Prototypes and wireframes designed for the products should be validated with business and end users.
  • In addition, the associate will be required to encourage best practices in the development of solutions and ensure delivery of qualitative and cost efficient system solutions for the group.
  • The associate will additionally be responsible for working closely with the Testing teams and reviewing artifacts, and assist in business in Post production verification.
  • The associate is expected to be part of impact analysis, prioritization and other BA practice exercises parallel to the project activities and carry out knowledge sharing and training activities where required
  • Show leadership capabilities and should lead a group of BAs with minimum support.
  • Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, de-bulk high-level information into details.
  • Ensure the functional information is appropriately conveyed to the IT as per project needs through training, workshop, walkthrough etc.
  • Strong customer focus, business thinking and ability to play product owner role in the POD
  • The associate should ensure they understand their position within the Three Lines of Defense, and act accordingly in line with operational risk policy, escalating in a timely manner where they are unsure of actions required.
  • The associate should be responsible for understanding user needs, and capturing these in the form of user stories and supporting this activity through just-in-time business process mapping or other suitable modelling technique if required. The project will determine the tools needed, and the associate will need the full arsenal of agile (and some waterfall) skills and tools at their disposal, and know where and when to deploy these.

Requirements

  • To secure one of these career-building opportunities, your experience includes:
  • Minimum of 5 years Business Analyst - Payments experience, functional and/or technical, working in Banking & Finance/Insurance
  • Experience across: SWIFT; NPP; GPP; AMH; ISO20022
  • Ability to work with stakeholders/end-users, to elicit and determine requirements and priorities
  • Ability to develop a narrative that resonates with individuals
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (e.g. clear, concise documentation)
  • Other relevant certification(s) e.g. Prince2, Agile, ITIL
