Job Responsibilities:

  1. Analysis and Solution Definition:

    • Develop expertise in specific IT Products offered by the IT department, serving both the business and consumers.
    • Act as the point of contact in Thailand for new product and significant enhancement requests, collaborating with business and IT teams to understand the business case and implementation costs to support Lead Product Owner's decision-making.
    • Ensure the development team focuses on the most valuable work in each sprint and facilitate timely delivery.
    • Take ownership of developing and maintaining the IT Products roadmap.
    • Prepare and refine user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams through discussions and negotiations with the business.
    • Collaborate across countries to drive IT process enhancements across our Asian business.
  2. Quality Assurance and Testing:

    • Work closely with developers to ensure their solution designs align with user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Verify that acceptance criteria and other testing conditions are met before considering a story as complete.
    • Ensure clear testing plans are documented and executed before software releases.
    • Collaborate with the development team to incorporate automated testing into solutions.
    • Identify and document system deficiencies, along with recommending potential solutions.
  3. Project Support & Change Management:

    • Follow up with relevant parties to ensure work adheres to agreed-upon schedules.
    • Track deliverables and address issues that could impact delivery timelines.
    • Ensure adherence to Agile practices by development teams.
    • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders when system changes are implemented.
    • Other Duties as Assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Application Support.
  • Proficient in business analysis.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact proactively with senior management, internal departments, clients, and vendors.
  • Quick learner with strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
  • While not mandatory, prior knowledge of the general insurance industry is advantageous.
