Company / Role Overview
Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an AI Delivery Business Analyst to support a portfolio of Data & AI transformation initiatives within a regional risk and governance function. This role will sit at the intersection of business, data, and technology teams, helping translate strategic AI and analytics use cases into tangible business outcomes. Working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving the implementation of multiple AI-driven initiatives focused on process optimisation, automation, risk management, and data-led decision making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to shape, analyse, and document requirements for AI, analytics, automation, and data-driven transformation initiatives.
- Translate high-level business challenges and use cases into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for technical delivery teams.
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, data specialists, and technical resources to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support end-to-end delivery of AI and analytics initiatives, including workshop facilitation, solution validation, business readiness activities, and implementation planning.
- Define and validate business outcomes, success measures, KPIs, and value realisation frameworks to ensure initiatives deliver measurable impact.
- Coordinate delivery activities across multiple workstreams, including tracking dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and stakeholder communications.
- Lead or support user acceptance testing activities, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and operational expectations prior to deployment.
- Maintain high-quality documentation covering requirements, business processes, solution designs, decision logs, and implementation outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within data, analytics, digital transformation, automation, or AI-related programmes.
- Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end project or product delivery, from requirements gathering through implementation and business adoption.
- Strong ability to engage and communicate with both senior business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex concepts into practical business solutions.
- Experience working within data and analytics environments, with understanding of reporting, data models, KPIs, data flows, or data governance concepts.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, or related emerging technologies within a business context would be highly advantageous.
- Proven stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and requirements elicitation skills across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Prior experience within insurance, financial services, risk, compliance, governance, or regulated industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
