Position Overview

Our client are seeking Agile AI Engineers who uniquely bridge the gap between "0-to-1" discovery and enterprise production. Because this project is in its early phases, we need builders who are highly comfortable with ambiguity and can operate without a pre-existing blueprint. However, you are not just building throwaway sandboxes—you must possess a proven track record of bringing AI products completely to production. You will be tasked with building the initial technical scaffolding with production-ready rigidity from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Production-Ready Prototyping: Take loosely defined business concepts and build functional, robust AI proofs-of-concept (PoCs) designed to transition smoothly into live, scalable enterprise deployment.
• Scaffolding & Infrastructure: Help establish the initial technical runtime environments, production-grade model orchestration layers, and API infrastructures from the ground up.
• Advanced Workflow Automation: Architect and experiment with multi-agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen) and Advanced RAG architectures to automate complex client-facing and operational processes.
• Pragmatic Engineering & LLMOps: Evaluate various LLMs, engineering smart caching, fine-tuning methodologies, and token-management early to ensure initial pilots remain highly cost-effective and enterprise-stable.
• Technical Advisory: Work closely with stakeholders to distinguish between technical hype and deployable reality, helping shape the long-term technical roadmap.

Technical Requirements & Profile

• The "Production-Hardened" Mindset: Strong experience in AI, ML, or Software Engineering, with a definitive track record of having shipped live, deployed AI products to production.
• AI Tools & Ecosystem: Deep hands-on experience with production-grade AI tools and orchestration libraries (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face).
• Advanced Capabilities: Direct experience with Model Fine-Tuning, Advanced RAG pipelines, and implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect LLMs to secure enterprise data sources.
• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with enterprise-grade rapid API development (e.g., FastAPI, Flask).
• Data & Cloud Infrastructure: Practical familiarity with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Chroma) and building within secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Adaptability: A software engineering background that values iterative delivery, clean architecture, and the ability to pivot as project requirements evolve.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience within Financial Services or the Insurance industry.
• Experience in a startup environment or an internal corporate "innovation lab" where speed-to-market is critical.
• Familiarity with technical governance, security protocols, and model runtime management within a regulated environment.
