A global lifestyle retail brand is entering its next growth phase in Asia. Following a successful global transformation and strong turnaround, the company is expanding its Singapore hub to accelerate growth across owned retail and distributor markets. Asia represents the brand’s largest untapped opportunity.

The Role

Reporting to the Zone General Manager, the Regional Commercial Sales Director will define and execute Asia’s commercial strategy - driving growth, profitability, and leadership capability across both direct and partner markets. The role demands a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on execution within an agile, flat organisation that prizes accountability, collaboration, and speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Asia’s commercial transformation, turning underdeveloped clusters into sustainable growth engines
  • Build strategic distributor partnerships through joint planning, capability building, and transparent performance management
  • Elevate retail execution, modernise store formats, strengthen service culture, and deliver a consistent, premium consumer experience
  • Manage full P&L ownership across owned and partner markets to ensure profitable, long-term growth
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across marketing, merchandising, digital, and operations for unified regional execution
  • Develop future-ready leaders by identifying internal talent, building succession pipelines
  • Foster a positive, entrepreneurial “can-do” mindset that encourages experimentation, agility, and solution-driven collaboration

Key Requirements

  • 15+ years of commercial or sales leadership experience in consumer, fashion, or lifestyle retail
  • Proven success leading distributor/franchise markets and direct retail operations across Asia
  • Strong commercial instincts with data-driven planning and operational discipline
  • Experience navigating complex matrix environments while balancing global consistency with local market needs
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and low-ego leadership style suited to a flat, performance-driven culture
  • Demonstrated ability to grow teams and future leaders in fast-evolving organisations
