Opportunity Overview

A prominent Hong Kong enterprise is seeking a high-caliber System Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and engineering teams. This role drives end-to-end SDLC delivery—from requirements gathering and system design to cloud modernization and production rollout—across modern Java/Angular architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• System Analysis & Solution Design: Translate complex business objectives into functional specs, process/data flows, and technical designs for scalable Java/Angular applications.
• Cloud Modernization & Architecture: Support cloud adoption (Azure / Alibaba Cloud), microservices migration, API/RESTful integrations, and event-driven architecture.
• Delivery & Agile Execution: Drive end-to-end SDLC across Agile ceremonies; review technical designs, assist with release planning, and coordinate CI/CD & DevOps workflows.
• Vendor & Team Guidance: Provide functional/technical direction to developers, collaborate with offshore/regional vendors, and align cross-functional QA and Architecture teams.
• Production Support & Quality: Conduct root-cause analysis on production issues, manage impact assessments, and maintain high-quality SDLC/security artefacts.

Core Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in System Analysis, Application Development, or Enterprise Tech Delivery.
• Tech Stack Literacy: Solid grasp of Java, Angular, relational/NoSQL databases, SQL, and API/microservices architectures.
• Cloud & Modernization: Hands-on experience or strong exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or Alibaba Cloud, DevOps/pipelines, application security, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Process & Delivery: Deep understanding of full SDLC, Agile methodologies, and experience working with offshore delivery teams or third-party vendors.
• Education & Languages: Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field. Trilingual fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required.

• Domain Context: Prior experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Pensions, Banking, or Wealth Management.
• Professional Mindset: Strong ownership, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
