About the Client
Our client is a premier financial institution and a dominant force in the Hong Kong banking sector. Known for their customer-centric approach, they are currently enhancing their digital engagement capabilities to deliver personalized, real-time interactions. They are seeking a highly organized and technically capable Assistant Manager to join their CRM and Digital Messaging team on a contract basis to ensure flawless execution of cross-channel communications.

The Role
This is an execution-focused role where you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of digital messaging propositions. Acting as a key member of cross-functional delivery teams (including Business, Analytics, and IT), you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy. You will ensure that all communications—from eDMs to push notifications—are deployed accurately, optimized for performance, and aligned with the bank's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Messaging Execution: Accountable for delivering digital messaging propositions across legacy and new platforms, including eDM, SMS, MMS, and Push Notifications, as well as future channels/devices.
  • End-to-End Management: Lead the full development lifecycle of digital messages, from initial scoping with business units to design, manufacturing, deployment, post-implementation support, and measurement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within agile delivery teams comprising Business, Analytics, and Data professionals to integrate market understanding, design, technology, and testing into every campaign.
  • Operational Excellence: Strive for flawless execution by providing operational insight and a pragmatic approach to message deployment, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.
  • Analytics & Insight Generation: Collaborate with business teams to perform hands-on analytics for campaign lead generation and tracking. Translate data into actionable business insights to improve future targeting.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a "zero tolerance" approach to quality and accuracy issues, ensuring all customer communications meet the bank's rigorous standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: University degree in Statistics, Data and Information Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of retail banking experience, specifically within information and data management or CRM execution.
  • Language Proficiency: Cantonese proficiency is mandatory to effectively communicate with local business stakeholders and manage campaigns targeting the Hong Kong market.
  • Technical & CRM Skills:
    • Solid understanding of digital messaging technology, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
    • Hands-on experience with the end-to-end content development lifecycle, including post-implementation support and measurement.
    • Preferred Technical Knowledge: Experience with SAS, SQL, Tableau/QlikSense, Python, or Pega is a distinct advantage.
