Frontend & Backend Developer (2 HC, 4 yrs exp) / IB Conctract/ HK$60k

A leading investment bank in Hong Kong is looking for 2 Developer for their team. It would be a 12 months extendable contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable web and mobile solutions
• Contribute to core frontend libraries and enterprise design system
• Prototype and redesign features with modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS)
• Participate in code reviews, technical design, and architecture discussions
• Drive performance optimization and system reliability
• Document changes and maintain excellent engineering standards
• Collaborate globally with developers, designers, and business stakeholders
• Champion agile practices and DevOps (CI/CD, cloud deployment)
• Help shape frontend architecture and best practices

What We're Looking For:

• Excellent Core Java with strong Object-Oriented design skills
• Experience in Domain-Driven Design and Event/Message-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ)
• Solid understanding of Microservices and caching technologies
• Hands-on experience with relational and document databases (high-volume processing)
• Practical knowledge of DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills
• Self-starter with leadership potential and team-first mindset
