Role Summary:
We’re looking for a subject matter expert to lead the design and delivery of the insurance and investment accounting solution within a global finance transformation program. In this role, you will define functional requirements, drive process and data design, and guide business unit teams through implementation and user acceptance. You’ll play a key role in shaping future-state accounting processes that are standardized, simplified, and automated across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver business requirements and solution design for insurance and investment accounting.
- Act as the SME, collaborating across global and local teams to define processes, data flows, and reporting requirements.
- Lead business design, prototyping, and UAT preparation.
- Identify pain points in current processes and translate them into scalable transformation solutions.
- Provide input into system integration, accounting rules, and data design.
- Support internal capability building and act as a change champion for implementation success.
- Ensure alignment with global standards while assessing and supporting local needs.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in insurance and investment accounting or finance transformation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
- Proven experience in process design, controls, and data analysis.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and cross-functional leadership.
- Preferred: experience with IFRS17, Oracle Fusion, chart of accounts design, and finance systems delivery.
