Role Summary:
Join a transformative global finance programme (FFP) as the Finance Operations Lead, responsible for designing and delivering best-in-class processes for cash management, reconciliations, and operational close activities. You’ll act as the subject matter expert and change champion across Head Office and Business Units, driving standardisation, automation, and better outcomes through effective collaboration, design, and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of global Finance Operations & Reconciliations processes, controls, and reporting requirements
- Translate user pain points into functional requirements and actionable solutions
- Collaborate with technology, change teams, and SMEs to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Guide UAT, implementation, and prototyping activities for finance operations
- Support localisation of global designs to meet business unit needs
- Coach and mentor teams, building internal capabilities and promoting best practices
Requirements:
- 5–10 years’ experience in finance operations, process design, or transformation
- Strong knowledge of cash & payments, reconciliations, P2P, and ledger close
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing change initiatives
- Solid process improvement skills, ideally using automation and data
- Strong communicator and influencer with a collaborative mindset
- Preferably experienced with finance systems like Oracle Fusion (AP, FA, Projects)
- Insurance industry background and knowledge of controls frameworks (e.g., SOX) is a plus
