Fund Operation – Analyst / Senior Analyst / Assistant Manager

Join a leading financial group, to supervise and enhance investment operations for pension schemes in Hong Kong, driving operational excellence, client retention, and risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Investment Operations Team to align with company strategy, standardize processes, and lead projects that improve service quality and reduce operational risk
  • Monitor daily operations for ORSO schemes, including trade order placement, valuation, reconciliation, unit pricing, and cash flow management
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, issue resolution, and escalation to senior management and clients, while adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Financial Reporting) and external partners (e.g., Fund Managers, Custodians) to resolve queries and implement process enhancements
  • Drive organizational and technological changes, emphasizing client relationships and continuous improvement in efficiency
  • Provide training, coaching, and resource planning to foster team development and an open communication environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in ORSO or pension funds investment operations, with strong knowledge of pension administration, accounting standards, unit pricing, and fund administration
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and systems like PeopleSoft or Aaspire (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a proactive approach to process improvement and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies, including building effective teams, resilience, and instilling trust
