About the Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly growing technology company expanding its global footprint. To support its next phase of growth, the company is creating a Total Rewards Director position to establish and lead a scalable regional rewards strategy.
Reporting to the senior HR leadership team, this role will drive the design and execution of compensation, benefits, mobility, and payroll governance across multiple markets. It is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Total Rewards leader who enjoys building frameworks, partnering with senior stakeholders, and supporting a dynamic, growth-oriented business.
Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Strategy
- Develop and execute regional compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business objectives and talent priorities.
- Lead the design and governance of salary structures, incentive plans, bonus frameworks, and reward policies.
- Conduct market benchmarking and ensure the organization maintains a competitive and sustainable rewards philosophy.
- Advise business leaders and HR partners on compensation-related decisions and reward strategy.
Compensation & Benefits
- Lead annual salary review, promotion, and incentive processes across the region.
- Design, evaluate, and enhance employee benefits programs to support employee engagement and retention.
- Manage the Total Rewards budget and support annual workforce planning and forecasting.
- Continuously review market trends and recommend improvements to reward programs.
Global Mobility
- Oversee regional mobility policies and programs supporting international assignments and employee relocations.
- Ensure mobility frameworks remain commercially sound, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors on mobility-related matters.
Payroll Governance
- Provide oversight of regional payroll governance to ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant payroll operations.
- Drive process improvements and partner with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to enhance operational efficiency.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage external partners supporting compensation surveys, benefits administration, payroll, and mobility services.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate commercial agreements where appropriate.
- Build strong partnerships with regional HR, Finance, and business leaders.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Leverage market data and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare insights and recommendations for senior leadership on Total Rewards trends and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, tax regulations, and reward governance across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of progressive Total Rewards experience, ideally within a regional or multinational environment.
- Strong expertise across compensation, benefits, payroll governance, and mobility.
- Experience partnering with senior business leaders and managing complex, multi-country reward programs.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization where processes continue to mature.
- Prior experience in the technology or digital sector is advantageous but not essential.
