Head of Finance (Exclusive Search – Retail)

We are partnering exclusively with a well-established retail organization with a strong regional presence to appoint a Head of Finance. This is a strategic leadership role, working closely with the CEO and Board to drive financial performance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group financial reporting, consolidation, and performance analysis across business units
• Partner the CEO and Board on financial strategy, insights, and decision-making
• Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Establish a strong Finance Business Partnering model to support operations
• Oversee financial controls, cashflow, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements (IFRS/SFRS)
• Lead ERP/system improvements to enhance finance operations
• Manage external stakeholders (auditors, bankers, regulators)
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team

Requirements

• CPA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a degree in Finance/Accountancy
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in a complex/multi-entity environment
• Strong experience in group reporting, consolidation, and P&L management
• Well-versed in Singapore financial regulations and compliance
• Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives
• Retail/F&B exposure is a plus
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills
