Immediate Cloud Security Engineer- 6 months contract- 65k P/M

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, Secrets Manager, and Key Management Service.
• Drive Policy as Code initiatives using tools like AWS Config, Open Policy Agent (OPA), and CloudCustodian to enforce security compliance across cloud environments.
• Develop and automate security controls, compliance checks, and reporting workflows aligned with standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
• Lead vulnerability management, penetration testing, and secure development initiatives across infrastructure and applications.
• Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to detect and mitigate risks early in the software development lifecycle.
• Manage container and Kubernetes security, implementing runtime protection and image scanning practices.
• Oversee identity and access management (IAM) design, least-privilege policies, and secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault.
• Build and maintain real-time security monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to embed security into the organization’s infrastructure and workflows.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience with AWS cloud security services, including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, and Secrets Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Policy as Code, cloud compliance automation, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
• Experience with container security(Docker, Kubernetes) and securing cloud-native workloads.
• Familiarity with integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of compliance frameworks(e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and secure SDLC practices.
• Skilled in incident response, security monitoring, and using tools like OPA, CloudCustodian, and HashiCorp Vault.
