About the Role:

As part of the Global Markets IT APS team, you will provide 1st and 2nd line support for critical trading applications used by Front Office traders across the globe. Based in Singapore, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment supporting real-time systems that power trading, risk, and pricing across Fixed Income, FX, Treasury, Credit, and eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for front-office trading applications, focusing on eCommerce systems during Asian trading hours.
  • Collaborate directly with traders, marketers, client services, and IT teams to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Monitor system health, manage P1/P2 incidents end-to-end, and drive root cause analysis and post-mortems.
  • Participate in incident response, task forces, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Lead and improve monitoring tools to enable proactive issue detection and self-healing capabilities.
  • Document processes, manage user queries, and ensure effective Follow-the-Sun handovers with global support teams.
  • Support automation, service improvement, and process optimization initiatives.

Technical Environment

  • Languages/Tools: Python, SQL, Jira, ServiceNow, internal monitoring tools
  • Business Areas: FX, Rates, Credit, Structured Products, Commodities, Treasury, Corporate Payments
  • Applications: Risk & P&L, trade capture, client-facing eCommerce platforms
  • Shift: Rotational (starting as early as 6:30 AM SGT), part of global APS coverage model

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in application support or production management within financial markets or trading environments
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income, FX, and Credit products
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Knowledge of ITIL, incident/problem management processes
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing habits
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and resilient with a focus on continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field from a top-tier university
