Company / Role Overview
This opportunity is with a fast-growing, regulated retail financial institution in Singapore undergoing a complex transformation following a merger. The organisation is seeking a senior, hands-on programme leader to operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, driving post-merger integration and data migration initiatives. The role sits close to senior leadership and requires an individual who can not only establish structure and governance, but also challenge programme direction, anticipate risks, and ensure delivery outcomes in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive post-merger integration activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and execution plans
- Oversee and provide direction on data migration initiatives, ensuring critical data is transitioned accurately and in line with programme timelines
- Establish and refine programme governance structures, including prioritisation frameworks, risk management processes, and reporting cadence
- Act as a senior advisor to leadership, proactively identifying gaps in programme design and recommending structural or strategic improvements
- Challenge stakeholders and programme assumptions where necessary to ensure robust decision-making and delivery integrity
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams (business, technology, operations) to manage dependencies and maintain programme momentum
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring visibility on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Drive accountability across delivery teams to ensure milestones are met and outcomes are achieved

- Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to post-merger integration (PMI) programmes within a banking or financial services environment
- Strong exposure to data migration initiatives, ideally within large-scale transformation or integration programmes
- Senior-level experience (typically 10+ years), with background in programme leadership, transformation, or consulting (e.g. Big Four or equivalent)
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, including challenging leadership decisions and influencing senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments with high levels of ambiguity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at C-suite level
Good-to-Have :
- Prior experience within retail or digital banking environments
- Background in large-scale transformation programmes involving core systems or enterprise-wide change
- Experience working within regulated environments and understanding of governance expectations
