Project Delivery Lead - Life Insurance (Techno-Functional)

• Delivery Lead / Project Manager – Life Insurance (Techno-Functional)
• 12-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position. The project has a minimum expected timeline of 2 years.

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead / Project Manager with strong Life Insurance project delivery experience. The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery across business and technology teams, with a strong focus on governance, stakeholder management, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Life Insurance projects from initiation through implementation.
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall delivery governance.
• Work closely with Business, Product, Technology, Operations, Architecture, Data, and other teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Act as the key point of contact across multiple stakeholders and drive timely decision-making and resolution of issues.
• Provide techno-functional understanding to bridge business requirements and technology solutions.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, deployment, and production readiness activities.
• Prepare project status reports, governance packs, RAID logs, and management updates.
• Work independently, take ownership, and proactively drive delivery outcomes.
• Support AI / Generative AI or digital transformation initiatives where required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Programme Manager within Life Insurance.
• Strong experience delivering business and technology transformation projects.
• Good techno-functional understanding with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
• Strong programme governance, risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• AI / Generative AI delivery experience is a strong advantage.
