We are currently hiring a QA Engineer
to join a major insurance organisation in Kuala Lumpur. The role will support the delivery of digital, data and AI-enabled solutions across the business, with a strong focus on software quality, test automation and reliable production releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and end-to-end testing strategies across digital and enterprise applications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, API and system testing.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks
to improve test coverage and delivery efficiency.
- Test applications and solutions incorporating AI, Generative AI or machine learning capabilities.
- Validate AI-driven outputs, workflows and integrations, including accuracy, consistency and expected system behaviour.
- Work closely with developers, AI Engineers, Product Owners and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution.
- Support continuous improvement of QA standards, automation practices and testing processes.
- Contribute to CI/CD and Agile delivery environments.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience
in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience across manual and automated testing.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium or similar.
- Good understanding of API testing, using tools such as Postman, REST Assured or similar.
- Some practical exposure to AI, Generative AI, machine learning applications or AI-enabled products.
- Understanding of how to test non-deterministic AI outputs, prompts, integrations or AI-enabled workflows would be advantageous.
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum
development environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD, cloud platforms or DevOps environments would be beneficial.
- Experience within Insurance or Financial Services
is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Candidates must already have the right to work in Malaysia
