A global alcohol organisation
is hiring an experienced Regional Area Sales Manager (Distributor Markets)
for its ASEAN business.
This is a Singapore-based
regional sales and distributor management role covering select distributor markets (including Philippines and Indonesia).
The role reports to the Zone MD and manages 5–6 distributor partners and a lean time, with frequent travel across the ASEAN markets.
Key responsibilities
- Own sales, volume, margin, allocation and trade spend performance across select distributor markets (including Philippines and Indonesia)
- Manage distributor partners through market visits, JBP, QBRs, sales reviews and action plans
- Strengthen route-to-market, pricing, channel mix, portfolio priorities and commercial execution
- Work with Marketing, Finance and Operations on brand activation, stock allocation and market priorities
- Identify longer-term growth opportunities across emerging Southeast Asia markets
Key requirements
- 12–15 years’ experience in regional sales, commercial sales, distributor management, export markets or business development
- Proven ASEAN distributor-market exposure, ideally across Philippines and Indonesia
- Wine & spirits experience preferred; alcohol, tobacco, beauty, luxury, FMCG or premium consumer goods backgrounds will be considered
- Strong sales discipline across KPIs, QBRs, annual planning, ROI, market analysis and 3–5 year planning
- Hands-on, numbers-driven and confident influencing distributors, senior leaders and cross-functional teams
