Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) to lead and execute HR strategies across Southeast Asia (SEA) manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate must have proven experience working in a dynamic multinational manufacturing environment, with a strong background in supply chain operations, Employee Relations, and union management.

You will partner closely with regional and site leadership to enable business growth, ensure workforce efficiency, and foster a high-performance culture across multiple countries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Partnership

    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic HR insights to drive business performance and operational excellence.

    • Lead the execution of HR strategies aligned with manufacturing and supply chain objectives across multiple SEA sites.

  • Employee & Industrial Relations

    • Lead ER and IR initiatives, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards.

    • Manage complex union negotiations and foster strong labor-management relationships.

    • Act as an escalation point for employee grievances and disputes.

  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain Support

    • Partner closely with plant managers, operations, and supply chain teams to address workforce challenges and optimize organizational efficiency.

    • Support transformation initiatives, productivity improvements, and capability-building programs.

  • Talent & Leadership Development

    • Drive talent management programs, including succession planning, leadership pipelines, and skills development.

    • Implement regional strategies to attract, retain, and engage top talent within a competitive manufacturing market.

  • Compliance & Policy Governance

    • Ensure all HR practices comply with local regulations and corporate guidelines.

    • Oversee HR audits, labor risk assessments, and policy standardization across sites.

  • Stakeholder & Regional Coordination

    • Act as a critical link between regional HQ and country HR teams, ensuring consistent practices and alignment.

    • Influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HRBP experience, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-site role.

  • Proven track record working in a dynamic MNC manufacturing environment.

  • Strong experience in Employee Relations (ER), Industrial Relations (IR), and union management.

  • Solid understanding of Southeast Asia labor laws and cross-border HR operations.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent in English(written and spoken).

  • Willingness to travel regionally once or twice a month.
