About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Developer to join a fast-growing innovation team focused on developing premium functional products for the Asian market. This role will be responsible for leading technical product development projects from concept through commercialization while collaborating closely with manufacturing partners and cross-functional stakeholders across Asia, particularly China.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving innovation, ensuring technical feasibility, and delivering high-quality products that meet consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Innovation

• Lead the technical development of new products from concept design through commercial launch.
• Translate business and consumer needs into product design requirements and technical specifications.
• Develop formulation strategies and collaborate with manufacturing partners to optimize product performance and scalability.
• Ensure products meet quality, regulatory, and performance expectations throughout the development process.

Technical Project Leadership

• Serve as the technical lead for innovation projects, managing development activities from feasibility assessment to commercialization.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and proactively identify solutions to project challenges.
• Coordinate pilot trials, industrial trials, product validation, and commercialization activities.
• Define key product specifications and quality attributes to ensure successful product performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Support product claims substantiation and ensure alignment between product benefits and technical design.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Innovation, or Technical Project Management
• Experience within Food, Beverage, Nutrition, Health Supplements, Functional Foods or Pet Nutrition
• Proven track record of managing complex product development projects from concept through commercialization
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with manufacturing partners and suppliers across Asia
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English communication skills are mandatory
