Senior Legal Counsel – Bangkok based

Our Client - a leading multinational company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel candidate to join the team and serve as a trusted legal and compliance advisor. This is a high-impact role that supports business operations while ensuring legal integrity and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Production.
• Serve as Corporate Secretary and manage corporate governance matters.
• Implement global and regional legal policies at the local level.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements.
• Advise on disputes, claims, digital and advertising legal challenges.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for aligned legal strategies.
• Act as the local Compliance Officer, leading risk assessments, compliance training, monitoring, and incident management.
• Support legal and compliance matters for selected ASEAN countries, as needed.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Thai Law with an active attorney license/certification in Thailand.
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial legal practice, including a minimum of 5 years in multinational companies (MNCs).
• Strong knowledge of consumer protection, advertising, data privacy, competition law, and e-commerce.
• Proven experience in legal document drafting, contract negotiation, and legal advisory.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
