Senior Web Engineer (React)- 3k- CONTRACT

We’re looking for a Senior Web Engineer with at least 7 years of web application development experience and strong expertise in React.js and modern frontend technologies.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys hands-on development, designing scalable frontend solutions, and building high-performance, maintainable web applications while contributing to technical decisions and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js.

• Build reusable, modular, and high-performance UI components.

• Design frontend architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Optimise application performance, speed, and scalability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and promote consistent coding standards.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

• Apply SOLID principles, clean architecture, and secure coding practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in web application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Strong experience with Tailwind CSS.

• Deep understanding of component-based architecture, React Hooks, and lifecycle methods.

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.

• Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimisation and responsive web design.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, clean code, and clean architecture.

• Familiarity with local storage and browser cache management.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks.

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with frontend performance monitoring tools.

• Experience with Vite.
