Job Description: Solution Architect (Health Insurance Technology)

Location: Hong Kong (5 Days Onsite)

Job Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension)

Language: English + Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin)

Role Objective

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with specialized expertise in Health Insurance technology to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cost-effective cloud and hybrid solutions. This role is pivotal in delivering complex system integrations that align with broader enterprise architecture and organizational goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Design and implement robust cloud/hybrid architectures. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and comprehensive project plans.
• Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud architecture projects. This includes defining milestones, tracking deliverables, and ensuring projects are executed on time and within scope.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a technical advisor to Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Engineering team members to ensure successful execution.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect leading medium-to-large scale project implementations.
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record within Health Insurance technology is a mandatory requirement.
• Cloud Proficiency: Sound knowledge of IT application architecture, design, and methodologies across multiple cloud-based platforms.
• System Integration: Expertise in managing large-scale and/or complex system integration projects.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Industry Background: Prior experience in Insurance or Healthcare sectors is a significant advantage.
• Architecture Depth: Knowledge of infrastructure and security architecture is highly desirable.
• Communication:
• English: Full professional proficiency is essential.
• Mandarin: Proficiency is a strong advantage but not a strict requirement.
