Test Engineer / Financial Services / $50-55k P/M / Extendable contract

We’re hiring a Test Engineer to join a growing quality assurance function within a leading financial services company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to testing, and a passion for ensuring high-quality user experiences in web and business-critical applications.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and execute manual test cases across web and backend systems
• Support the QA team in test planning, execution, and defect tracking
• Contribute to light test automation efforts (e.g., regression or smoke testing)
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams
• Help ensure solutions meet both functional and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in manual testing within a structured team
• Some exposure to test automation tools(e.g., Selenium, Postman, or similar) is a plus
• Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Background in financial services or other regulated environments is beneficial
